Full description

The PAS tour is the classic day out from Antalya. In Perge we walk through the Hellenistic gate, along the wide colonnaded street with its water channel and on to the stadium that held over 12,000 people. For travellers following Paul, Perge is where he came ashore after crossing from Cyprus.

Aspendos is the highlight: the 2nd-century theatre stands almost complete, stage wall included – nowhere else can a Roman theatre be experienced like this. After lunch by the river we continue to Side with its Temple of Apollo on the headland, and finish at the Manavgat waterfall.
