Full description
Kaleiçi is the heart of Antalya: behind Roman and Seljuk walls lie narrow lanes, restored Ottoman houses and small mosques. We walk from Hadrian's Gate past the landmark Yivli Minaret and the Kesik Minaret to the Hıdırlık Tower and down to the old harbour. From here Paul and Barnabas sailed back to Antioch after their first missionary journey.
Then we drive to the coast of Lara, where the Düden river falls about 40 metres straight into the Mediterranean – one of the finest views of the city. On request we also stop at the Upper Düden Waterfall in its park.
