Who we are

MeinReiseleiter.de is the tour guide and local guide service of Besch Berufsbekleidung & Outdoor Reisen UG, based in Saxony-Anhalt, with partner offices in Istanbul and Kuşadası. Founded in 1989 by Mehmet Humayunoğlu, a state-licensed tour guide (Kokartlı Turist Rehberi) and sworn interpreter, we now work with a permanent team of experienced, licensed guides in Istanbul, on the Aegean, in Cappadocia and in German cities.

Our main areas of focus are Byzantine/East Roman and Ottoman history, biblical sites in Asia Minor, shore excursions for cruise passengers at Galataport, and interpreting and escort services for business travellers. Every tour is conducted exclusively by licensed guides – never by drivers or temporary staff.
